The role focuses on managing project administration, ensuring compliance with EU funding rules, supporting partners, and maintaining accurate financial records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start Date: <strong>1 February 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>-Manage day-to-day administrative and financial tasks for the project<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ensure compliance with EU funding rules, grant agreements &amp; reporting requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Track expenditure, financial forecasts &amp; flag deviations or risks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Handle procurement processes, supplier onboarding &amp; payments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts &amp; financial records<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Collect and verify compliance documentation from project partners<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Assist with interim and final financial report submissions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Liaise with partners (CIVICUS, OpenUp, CTIN)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Support project audits, meetings, and reporting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide administrative support to the Senior Project Coordinator &amp; wider project team<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u20133 years\u2019 experience in grant or financial administration (EU-funded project experience advantageous)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong financial and budget management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent organisational &amp; detail-orientation skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to multi-task &amp; work in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); financial systems experience beneficial<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong written &amp; verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Remuneration &amp; Benefits<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Market related<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1-Year Fixed-Term Contract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Employment Equity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wits Enterprise is committed to employment equity.
