Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join their team as Cashiers across various stores nationwide. Successful applicants will support customer service at the point of sale, ensuring a seamless and world-class shopping experience while accurately processing transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Process all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, card, vouchers, and loyalty programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow company standard operating procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Be knowledgeable about current promotions and sales to assist customers effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in line with company policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure the security of cash and confidential handling of daily takings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report any irregularities, suspicious behavior, or customer feedback to the supervisor or management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Support the implementation of Dis-Chem\u2019s 5-star customer communication principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements and Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Grade 12 \/ Matric qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Basic numerical and literacy skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Good command of the English language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Customer service orientation and willingness to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-South African citizenship or valid work permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
