Sweeping<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clean designated streets and areas using brooms, shovels and litter-picking tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove litter in developed areas, tourist areas, townships and informal settlements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place filled refuse bags on pavements\/kerbside for collection by street truck teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear all spillage when refuse bag breakage occurs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Litter pick one side of the street at a time (no criss-crossing).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get acquainted with allocated work areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refuse Handling &amp; Stacking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collect refuse bags and place them in designated stacking areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stack bags properly, ensuring bag openings face the road.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove boxes and ensure proper offloading at stacking points.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clean all bins as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bin Delivery Duties<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collect new\/replacement bins from central stores.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inspect bins for damages before dispatch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Record serial numbers in the bin delivery register.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver bins and collect damaged bins in exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure customers sign delivery receipts and issue copies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Safety &amp; Operational Compliance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Always wear protective clothing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Observe all safety and operational procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report safety incidents, equipment issues and injuries to the Team Leader.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with members of the public and resolve or escalate complaints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all daily tasks are completed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform additional duties as delegated by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 12 months cleaning\/general work experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No criminal record<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physically and mentally fit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must reside within the City of Johannesburg (proof of residence required)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Competencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Knowledge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of relevant tools, equipment and procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of relevant legislation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of company procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills &amp;
