The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient functioning of the nursing team by providing strong administrative support, facilitating interdepartmental communication, and ensuring accurate patient documentation management within a hospital environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This role is ideal for candidates with hospital administration experience who are passionate about patient service and operational excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide effective administrative support to the nursing team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate bookings and patient transport arrangements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure accurate identification, filing, and safekeeping of patient documentation to eliminate medico-legal risks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate effective communication between departments, patients, and healthcare professionals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with non-nursing operational activities to support ward efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and emergency procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend scheduled meetings and in-service training sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uphold quality principles and deliver friendly, customer-focused service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 (Senior Certificate).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 1 year of general administrative experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work on SAP systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Result-oriented and deadline-driven.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer-focused approach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates must submit their application via email to:<br><strong><a>hiltonrecruitment@lifehealthcare.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Closing Date:<\/strong> Tuesday, 17 February 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internal applicants are requested to discuss their application with their line manager before applying.
