Secunda Operations runs the world\u2019s largest coal-to-liquids (CTL) facility, producing synthesis gas (syngas) and synthetic fuels using proprietary Fischer-Tropsch technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sasol is committed to developing its people and fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace where employees can grow their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose of the Job<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure continuous plant availability through effective maintenance and support of HVAC equipment and related systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform maintenance on HVAC and related equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wash filters and HVAC units<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clean cooling towers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sand and paint HVAC units and equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clean storerooms, plant rooms and HVAC yards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry tools and equipment within allowable limits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate mobile WAP high-pressure machines on trailer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or N3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to communicate and correspond in English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license (Code EB required; EC1 advantageous)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum 1 year relevant experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in an Electrical or HVAC environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience using hand and power tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Skills &amp;
