This role focuses on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in municipal offices and facilities to ensure a healthy working environment for employees and members of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate must have proven experience in cleaning within a Local Government environment and demonstrate the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. This position is operational in nature and not administrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preference will be given to Midvaal residents only. Due to operational requirements, preference will be given to female applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least one (1) year relevant experience as a cleaner within a Local Government Authority<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience in office cleaning and physical cleaning duties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, proper storage techniques, and waste disposal procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (must be bilingual and understand English)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good physical health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hard-working and self-disciplined<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Duties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of offices, bathrooms, stockrooms, and kitchens<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash bins<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replace bin liners and dispose of general office waste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve tea and coffee to staff and visitors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare boardrooms and venues for meetings, including cleaning and setting up water and refreshments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with general office administration duties once cleaning schedule is completed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the supervisor or management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Notes for Applicants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is not an administrative role;
