The successful candidates will be responsible for protecting Eskom\u2019s assets and interests by performing physical security duties in line with national legislation, Eskom policies, and National Key Point requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of strategic infrastructure within the Generation division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perform access control duties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct routine patrols<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve on reaction\/response teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execute emergency preparedness duties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform guard duties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out general security responsibilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with Eskom security policies, directives, and standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 \/ NCV4 \/ N3 and Languages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OR Diploma\/Certificate in the relevant function at NQF Level 4 (minimum 120 credits)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum 2 years\u2019 security experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in guarding, patrolling, and access control<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Key Point (NKP) training\/registration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Firearm competency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Positive security clearance issued by the State Security Agency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Professional Registration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PSIRA Grade C or higher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills &amp;
