Overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Shoprite, in partnership with the Youth Employment Service (YES)<\/strong>, is offering a Retail Readiness Programme (RRP)<\/strong> aimed at empowering unemployed South African youth<\/strong> with the foundational skills needed for a successful career in the retail sector. This programme is ideal for individuals who have no prior work experience and are eager to enter the job market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme consists of three weeks of theoretical training<\/strong> followed by four weeks of in-store practical experience<\/strong>, preparing learners to confidently take on retail roles in various store formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Can Apply?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-South African citizens aged 18 to 34 years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Individuals with no prior work experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Applicants who meet the education and availability criteria below<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Grade 10 pass<\/strong> or equivalent (Matric is advantageous but not required)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Willingness to learn and commit to the full duration of the programme<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must be currently unemployed and not studying full-time<\/p>\n\n\n\n
