The ideal candidate will support customer service excellence at the point of sale and ensure a professional and accurate shopping experience. This role requires someone with previous till operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work retail hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Handle all point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain strong customer service standards according to Dis-Chem policies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Process various payment types (cash, cards, vouchers, loyalty cards, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Manage all cash and ensure secure till operations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Report customer feedback and security concerns to supervisors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ensure correct handling of returns, price overrides, and voids with supervisor approval<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of in-store promotions and loyalty programs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Adhere to Dis-Chem\u2019s security and confidentiality procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Recognize and report suspicious activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 \/ Matric<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 6 months&#8217;
