Location:<\/strong> Sandton, Gauteng Catalyst Hotel is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant<\/strong> to join the housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing laundry operations, including washing, sorting, pressing, and issuing linen while maintaining high hygiene and quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This role also involves supporting housekeeping functions to ensure excellent guest satisfaction across the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold guest laundry and hotel linen<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Ensure all laundry processes follow company procedures and quality standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of laundry equipment and work areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Receive, count, and record linen from rooms and outsourced laundry services<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies in linen and supplies<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Issue clean linen and guest supplies to housekeeping staff<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Assist with stock control, inventory counts, and linen management<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Manage staff uniforms, including issuing, cleaning, and returns<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Ensure compliance with health, safety, and chemical handling procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Respond to housekeeping service requests and assist with room inspections when required<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n
