Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is inviting applications for a Linen Stores Assistant (Linen Control)<\/strong>. The successful candidate will support hospital operations by ensuring efficient linen management, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting with stock control processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Provide a professional linen and clothing service within the hospital<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Sort, count, and pack clean linen for various departments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Handle soiled and infectious linen in line with safety protocols<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Record and manage linen stock accurately<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Unpack and organise linen in designated storage areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Support wards, supervisors, and other departments with linen needs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations<\/p>\n\n\n\n
