Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Unitrans is looking for a skilled Ultra-Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver to join its Agriculture division. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various clients while maintaining high safety and operational standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Prepare and inspect the vehicle before each trip.
– Operate ultra-heavy motor vehicles safely and in line with regulations.
– Load, transport, and offload goods efficiently.
– Ensure loads are properly secured before departure.
– Handle all transport-related documentation accurately.
– Open and close tarpaulins where required.
– Monitor vehicle condition and report defects or issues.
– Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, PPE, and uniform.
– Ensure compliance with the National Road Traffic Act and company safety procedures.
– Interact professionally with clients during deliveries.
– Assist or oversee offloading using appropriate equipment.
– Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements & Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Minimum Grade 11 (or equivalent literacy and numeracy skills).
– Valid Code EC driver\u2019s license with PrDP (DGP).
– Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles.
– Must be 25 years or older.
– Defensive driving knowledge and safe driving record.
– Understanding of vehicle components and inspections.
– Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
– Knowledge of emergency procedures and safety practices.
– Own reliable transport.
– Clean criminal record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Successful completion of medical evaluation.
-Completion of required training modules and induction.
