Job Opportunity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vhembe District Municipality is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for eleven (11) General Worker positions within the Water Services section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The successful candidates will assist with the operation, maintenance, cleaning and general upkeep of water reservoirs, pipelines and related infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Clean inside water reservoirs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Cut and remove grass using hand-held machines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Wash and clean reservoirs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Remove litter and debris<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Perform basic maintenance duties<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Assist with plumbing and pipeline work<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Repair leaks and connections<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Carry refuse to designated disposal sites<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Clean tools, equipment and work areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Grade 10<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 No experience required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ability to work outdoors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Physically fit and able to perform manual labour<\/p>\n\n\n\n
