Overview<\/strong>
The Department is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist for its Security Services unit in Pretoria. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring efficient visitor management, security compliance, and exceptional customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Greet, identify, and direct visitors, arranging escorts where necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Verify identification of incoming visitors and issue visitor cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain visitor logs and related documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Record incoming and outgoing mail, compile visitor statistics, and ensure all reception security equipment is operational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report defects to the maintenance unit or security officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Direct visitors to relevant information desks and officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Screen visitors before referral to appropriate staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Matric\/Grade 12 certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in reception and customer care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to promote Batho Pele principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Good communication skills and conflict management abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work independently and in a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Proficiency in computer applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-A valid driver\u2019s licence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
