Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CJ Mining Holdings is seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Processing Plant Operator to support operations at its diamond processing plant in Ngope-Tsoeu (Roma). This role is key to ensuring the efficient and safe operation of processing equipment and achieving optimal diamond recovery. A 6-month on-the-job training (OJT) program is provided as part of a 5-year employment contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Operate and monitor processing equipment, including crushers, screens, sorters, and Dense Media Separation (DMS) units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure continuous material flow through the plant and optimal equipment function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Inspect equipment regularly, reporting malfunctions or required maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning screens and lubricating parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor key parameters (e.g., flow rate, density) and make necessary adjustments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collect and analyze samples for quality control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere to all safety procedures, including the use of PPE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report safety hazards or incidents without delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain a clean and orderly work area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with plant start-up and shutdown processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Coordinate with other team members and departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in training programs for skill development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Accurately record operational data and production results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-COSC\/LGCSE or relevant technical field qualification (advantageous).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Experience in mineral processing or plant operations preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong understanding of mineral processing principles and systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to troubleshoot and follow instructions effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Commitment to safety and quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Good communication and team collaboration skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
