You\u2019ll keep trading areas, stockrooms, dispensaries, offices and canteens clean and hygienic to Dis-Chem standards, support customers with a professional attitude, and follow Health &amp; Safety procedures during store trading hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deliver daily, high-standard cleaning across sales floor, stockroom, dispensary, offices, canteen and restrooms before and during trade.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replenish restroom\/canteen consumables and ensure tidy communal areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the correct cleaning products\/equipment for each task; display wet-floor signage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay available during operating hours to clean spills and maintain standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow HSE, security and store SOPs; report risks and incidents promptly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide courteous, basic customer assistance when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements &amp; Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12\/Matric.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 6 months\u2019 <strong>store\/industrial cleaning<\/strong> experience is advantageous. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work retail hours (weekends, public holidays, late trading).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good English communication; additional local language advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentable, trustworthy, attentive to detail; follows instructions and meets deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physically fit for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing\/pulling and lifting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SA citizen with clear credit and criminal record; reliable transport\/proximity to store.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remuneration &amp; Benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Market-related salary; benefits per Dis-Chem policy (role\/contract dependent).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Employment Equity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dis-Chem is an equal opportunity employer.
