Your responsibilities will align with our overall business strategy, providing excellent customer service while handling administrative and payment tasks. If you are a motivated, customer-focused individual, this opportunity could be perfect for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide friendly, efficient, and professional telephone services for patient inquiries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist patients in completing necessary forms, ensuring all documentation complies with internal policies and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage the patient journey from booking, arrival, and payment using the relevant system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Direct patients to the appropriate services, locations, or healthcare professionals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, in accordance with POPIA regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the reception area remains clean and organized.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refer emergency cases to the nurse\u2019s station following established protocols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist patients with basic account inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collect co-payments and outstanding account balances according to Intercare&#8217;s policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow daily cash-up and banking procedures accurately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Minimum Qualification:<\/strong> Grade 12<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience in a customer-focused environment (e.g., reception) is advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer proficiency required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with the GoodX system is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HPCSA registration as a Dental Assistant will be advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>If you share our values and purpose, and you are excited to contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply.
