The successful candidate will ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the office environment while assisting with various general tasks to support the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clean and maintain offices, bathrooms, stockrooms, and the kitchen to ensure a hygienic working environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve tea and coffee to visitors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare meeting venues by setting up water decanters, glasses, and refreshments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with general office administration tasks when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform any other related ad hoc duties as requested by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Grade 10 (Grade 12 will be an added advantage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>License:<\/strong> A valid driver\u2019s license is advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Skills:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingualism is essential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to follow instructions and work independently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good physical health and basic skills in manual labor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> At least 1 year of relevant experience as a cleaner or general worker, preferably within Midvaal Local Municipality or a local government authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Residency:<\/strong> Must reside within the jurisdiction of the Midvaal Local Municipality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Equity Considerations:<\/strong> Preference will be given to candidates who promote employment equity targets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Persons with disabilities<\/strong> are encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, please visit the <strong>Midvaal Local Municipality careers portal<\/strong>.
