VKB Group, a leader in the agricultural industry, is seeking three dedicated and hardworking individuals for the role of General Worker at Crown Bag (Pty) Ltd in Harrismith. Crown Bag is a packing material manufacturer and part of the VKB Group. This position offers a permanent role in a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on production and quality control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness in the work area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform various cleaning duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Pack bags onto pallets and ensure proper record-keeping of production and waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Identify potential issues with products (training will be provided).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collaborate with different departments as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Uphold housekeeping standards in designated workspaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Grade 12 or NQF4 certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-A valid Forklift license is advantageous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Willingness to work alternate day and night shifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Own reliable transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Service-oriented, punctual, and reliable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Excellent health and physical stamina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
