Overview:<\/strong>
The Department is seeking a Statistical Officer to handle data collection and analysis, producing essential reports and publications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and analytical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collect data and perform statistical analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Facilitate data collection channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Produce statistical publications, reports, and presentations for the National Operations Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct sampling and basic statistical methods for estimation and interpretation of results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-National Diploma in Statistics or Mathematics (SAQA recognized).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 1 year experience in a statistical environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Skills: Computer literacy, planning and organizing, written and verbal communication, and understanding of customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
