We invite applications for the position of General Store Assistant at our Canal Walk location. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with premium brands and deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform cash desk functions, ensuring adherence to daily cash management processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain zero cash variances and accurately record manual transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow stock management processes daily, including accurate completion of weekly stock counts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Manage customer orders and ensure the storeroom is well-organized and in good condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct weekly shoe pairing exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sales Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Meet set sales targets and actively contribute to store sales goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to assist customers effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 1 year of retail experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Completed Matric\/Grade 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Knowledge of retail administration disciplines, stock, and cash management processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong sales knowledge and selling skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Understanding of policies and procedures related to cash handling, stock management, and administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong analytical thinking and planning skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
