Aubrey Sacks Plumbing Supplies, a leading provider of plumbing materials, is seeking a reliable and professional driver to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling deliveries and collections, ensuring that stock is delivered accurately and on time. We are looking for someone with strong driving skills, a good knowledge of the area, and a professional attitude towards customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Pick-up and drop-off:<\/strong> Collect stock from suppliers and deliver to clients in a timely manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Stock management:<\/strong> Ensure all stock taken from the shop is accompanied by appropriate paperwork, checked, and corresponds with the documentation. Report and resolve any discrepancies before leaving the premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Route planning:<\/strong> Map out the most efficient driving routes to ensure prompt deliveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Loading and unloading:<\/strong> Assist with loading and unloading stock, ensuring care is taken to handle all items safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Vehicle maintenance:<\/strong> Keep company vehicles clean, well-maintained, and fueled. Promptly report any issues or damages to the manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Compliance:<\/strong> Ensure company vehicles are parked legally and adhere to road regulations. Report any traffic tickets or violations to management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Ad hoc tasks:<\/strong> Assist with additional duties as required by the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Minimum 3 years of driving experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Valid Code 10 driver\u2019s license with a clean driving record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Familiarity with GPS devices and ability to navigate local roads and neighborhoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Physical ability to lift and carry heavy packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Strong communication skills with a professional and polite demeanor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
