Pepkor Lifestyle, a leading retail lifestyle brand, is looking for a reliable and experienced Courier Driver to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. If you have a valid Code 8 driver\u2019s license, PDP, and prior experience in a courier environment, we want to hear from you. This role involves ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient delivery of packages, while maintaining exceptional customer service and accurate record-keeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Timely Deliveries:<\/strong> Safely transport packages and parcels to designated locations, including customers, stores, service centers, and drop-off points, ensuring all stock is accompanied by accurate documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Stock and Equipment Management:<\/strong> Take responsibility for stock, vehicles, and equipment assigned, and ensure the return of undelivered stock to the service center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Customer Interaction:<\/strong> Provide top-notch customer service during interactions, maintaining a customer-centric approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Compliance:<\/strong> Adhere to all safety policies and procedures relevant to transportation and company regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Teamwork:<\/strong> Collaborate effectively with your team and demonstrate strong self-management skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Problem Solving:<\/strong> Handle any stock discrepancies, delivery issues, or vehicle-related concerns promptly and professionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Grade 12<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Valid Code 8 license and Professional Driving Permit (PDP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– At least 3 years of experience as a driver, preferably in a courier environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Strong knowledge of Durban\u2019s geographical area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Familiarity with transportation principles, distribution safety standards, and records maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Understanding of Pepkor Lifestyle\u2019s policies, systems, and operational models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
