Afrit, a leading trailer manufacturer with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team in Paarl, Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transport of parts and goods to designated locations while adhering to all road safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Safe Vehicle Operation:<\/strong> Drive company vehicles to transport parts and goods to specified locations, following all traffic rules and speed limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Timely Deliveries:<\/strong> Follow established routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries to various addresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Loading and Unloading:<\/strong> Safely load and unload goods, ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Order Accuracy:<\/strong> Verify the accuracy of orders before departure and upon delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Supplier Collections:<\/strong> Collect parts from suppliers as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Customer Interaction:<\/strong> Communicate effectively with customers, provide information about new products, and address any concerns or feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Vehicle Maintenance:<\/strong> Maintain the cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and report any maintenance issues or accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Record-Keeping:<\/strong> Complete all necessary logs and reports in a timely manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

– Education:<\/strong> Matric (essential).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Driver\u2019s License:<\/strong> Valid Code 10 driver\u2019s license (essential).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– PDP License:<\/strong> Advantageous but not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Experience:<\/strong> Minimum of 3 years in a similar role with proven driving skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
