This program provides hands-on training and mentorship, helping you develop valuable skills in the retail industry. As a Merchandiser, your role is to ensure that products are correctly displayed, well-organized, and attractively presented to boost sales and enhance the customer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Stock Management:<\/strong> Count and document stock to be merchandised, unpack received stock, and organize products for display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Display Maintenance:<\/strong> Arrange and maintain displays according to planograms, ensuring products are attractively presented and priced correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Product Presentation:<\/strong> Use creative ideas to design special displays for seasons or promotions, incorporating colors, props, and decorations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Stock Control:<\/strong> Continuously monitor stock levels, remove old or damaged products, and ensure fresh products are displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Customer Assistance:<\/strong> Advise customers on product usage and provide support by addressing complaints, queries, and requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Collaboration:<\/strong> Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align product displays with promotional strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>General Duties:<\/strong> Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including storeroom management, and ensure pricing labels are accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Matric certificate (National Senior Certificate or equivalent).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Fluent in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Proximity:<\/strong> Must live within 15km of the job location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Smartphone:<\/strong> Must own a smartphone (minimum 10GB storage) for daily tasks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clear Record:<\/strong> No criminal record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Preferences<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>South African Candidates:<\/strong> Preference will be given to local candidates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Prior learnership experience is an advantage but not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, you will be required to complete a series of assessments, including the <strong>Potential Work Performance Assessment Battery<\/strong>.
