Position Overview:<\/strong> Transnet is seeking General Workers to provide manual labor as directed by supervisors. The role is crucial for maintaining a safe, clean working environment and ensuring optimized cargo handling at the terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Carry out labor tasks as instructed to maintain cleanliness and safety at the terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist in optimizing cargo handling processes to ensure smooth operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Grade 12 \/ NQF 04<\/strong>: Minimum 1 year of experience in terminal operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Grade 10 \/ NQF 02<\/strong>: Minimum 2 years of experience in terminal operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Knowledge of Terminal Layout:<\/strong> Familiarity with terminal structure and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Safety Awareness:<\/strong> Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Stack Management:<\/strong> Understanding of cargo stacking and organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Attention to Detail:<\/strong> Ensure precision in carrying out tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Cleanliness:<\/strong> Maintain a tidy and orderly workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
