Successful completion of the learnership is a critical step toward becoming a certified traffic officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br>As a traffic officer, your duties will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Enforcing road traffic laws to ensure the safety of all road users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Verifying vehicle and driver compliance with the necessary legal requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Conducting traffic control duties, including issuing fines and managing traffic flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Assisting in public communications and road safety awareness campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learnership Requirements<\/strong><br>To be eligible for this Traffic Officer Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hold a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be permanently employed as a traffic officer at a provincial or local authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have no criminal record.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be medically, physically, and mentally fit for the required duties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess a valid Code B driver\u2019s license (manual transmission).
