The ideal candidate will prevent theft, monitor activities, and respond effectively to emergencies, acting as a visible deterrent to crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>-Monitor CCTV cameras and store activities to detect and prevent theft or suspicious behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Conduct regular patrols, both inside and outside the store, to maintain a secure environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Identify and apprehend individuals involved in theft or fraudulent activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Collaborate with store management and law enforcement to report and document security incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents or altercations, offering assistance as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Verify the identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Prepare detailed reports on observed incidents and activities during shifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain accurate records of thefts, damages, and other security-related issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Assist customers with inquiries and provide directions within the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Operate and maintain security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarms, and radios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Conduct regular checks to ensure all security equipment is in working order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ensure compliance with company security and safety policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Stay up to date on security best practices and legal requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Grade C PSIRA<\/strong> registered and current.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grade 10 or higher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of search procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be neat, presentable, and professional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reside in <strong>Kwaggasfontein<\/strong> or nearby areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong observational and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of security systems and equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-3-color has-accent-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-560d09dc7732bb0ed8c44201f6b82bf8\"><strong>HOW TO APPLY:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-base-3-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-tsu-international-is-looking-for-grade-c-retail-security-officers-pretoria-west-soshanguve-area-x18\/\" style=\"background-color:#ff0000\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Work Environment:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Retail Security Officer will work in a retail environment, which may include exposure to different temperatures, noise levels, and physical activity.
