Overview:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Air Products South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Cylinder Truck Driver to join the Packaged Gas department at our Vanderbijlpark facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of gas products in cylinders and Minitanks to and from customer locations. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and high standards of service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Deliver and collect cylinders safely and efficiently at assigned customer locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Load and offload cylinders according to safety procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the assigned truck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere to company SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Complete delivery documentation and vehicle reports accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform general tasks as required by the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Grade 12 \/ Matric certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid and unendorsed EC Driver\u2019s License<\/strong> with PrDP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid Forklift license<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in heavy-duty driving<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Proven experience in transporting and handling dangerous goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Medically fit for physical and demanding tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must have own reliable transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to complete accurate reports and delivery documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
