Finance Manager<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Head of Finance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Main Purpose of the Job:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To manage, plan, organize, and control all financial and management accounting functions of the Authority in line with national legislation and international standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee and implement financial management processes, procedures, and controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor expenditure, revenue, and cash flow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure tax compliance and payroll processing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage risk related to financial processes and recommend mitigations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support internal and external audit requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience with at least 3 years in a financial management role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in financial planning, treasury, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership with a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., BICA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Accountant<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Finance Manager<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Main Purpose of the Job:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To plan, organize and implement the accounting and financial management systems in compliance with international accounting standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain financial records and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage payroll, budgeting, and accounts payable\/receivable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare reconciliations and financial statements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory obligations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in internal and external audits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support budgeting, procurement, and investment processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least two years of post-qualification experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, BICA).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working knowledge of IFRS and financial systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in public or private finance sectors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3.
