PWDAC is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Officer to ensure the effective financial management of the Council. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, compliance, reporting, and operational support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Financial Planning and Budgeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with program and administrative staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor budget execution and provide advice on financial performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Accounting and Financial Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with international accounting standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly documented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Compliance and Audit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ensure compliance with national laws, donor regulations, and internal financial policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Support both internal and external audit processes and implement recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Cash Flow and Expenditure Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Monitor cash flow to ensure operational continuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Manage payments, payroll processing, and petty cash systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Procurement and Asset Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Contribute to procurement planning and ensure cost-effective purchasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain an up-to-date asset register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6.
