Through partnerships with national and district health systems, SolidarMed focuses on strengthening health infrastructure and community capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SolidarMed Lesotho is seeking an exceptional and motivated District Project Coordinator<\/strong> to support the implementation of the LEAP START Early Childhood Development (ECD) project in Mokhotlong. The role is responsible for the management, coordination, and delivery of ECD-focused technical assistance to the District Health Management Team (DHMT) and local partners, with a special focus on children under 5, including those with developmental disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Programme Implementation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Integrate ECD into Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) services at selected facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Plan, coordinate, and implement ECD interventions aligned with national frameworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct capacity needs assessments and build capacity of district and community stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Train and mentor community-based health and education workers in partnership with DHMT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Improve knowledge and access to health and nutrition services for caregivers and children aged 0-5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor and supervise ECD-related community activities in collaboration with district stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Manage reporting and tracking of key project components such as baseline and end line surveys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure timely submission of reports, work plans, financial records, and project documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partnership Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct regular site visits to partner congregations for supervision and mentorship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Identify capacity gaps and develop improvement plans with partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collaborate on capacity-building initiatives, financial oversight, and performance feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide timely and constructive feedback on partner progress and reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communications and Networking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Foster integration with other district-level projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Develop and share IEC materials and success stories in collaboration with partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Document lessons learned and best practices for wider dissemination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Support reporting and communication of M&E findings with community and stakeholder groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare, review, and submit high-quality reports to management and donors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
