Purpose of the Role<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Provide support in daily laboratory operations, including transporting samples, managing waste disposal, general cleaning, and assisting with experiments as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Safety and Compliance:<\/strong> Follow all safety protocols and attend relevant safety training as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Sample Management:<\/strong> Safely transport samples within Sasolburg and facilitate sample logistics for clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Inventory and Supplies:<\/strong> Deliver and collect laboratory consumables, replace gas cylinders as needed, and notify lab administrator for restocking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Laboratory Support:<\/strong> Assist Research and Development teams with lab tasks, perform cleaning duties, and maintain good housekeeping practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Vehicle Maintenance:<\/strong> Ensure lab vehicle maintenance including refueling, checking tyre pressure, and other necessary inspections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Waste Disposal:<\/strong> Dispose of lab waste (e.g., glass, metal, plastic) according to safe work procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Relationship Building:<\/strong> Foster a collaborative work environment and maintain positive relationships with lab staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Professional Development:<\/strong> Enhance skills and knowledge through continuous improvement and by tracking your personal development plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications and Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Education:<\/strong> Matric or equivalent with Maths and Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Experience:<\/strong> Entry-level (0+ years of relevant experience).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Additional:<\/strong> Valid Code 08 Driver’s License.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
