Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Unitrans is seeking a dedicated and reliable General Worker<\/strong> to join our Consumer Division at Rainbow Hammersdale. This role involves assisting drivers with loading and offloading trucks, as well as maintaining cleanliness and safety across the premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Assist truck drivers in loading and offloading deliveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain clean and clear outside walkways, free of debris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report any required repairs to building management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform cleaning tasks across the entire premises, ensuring a safe and organized environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Carry out additional duties as instructed by the supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure compliance with all safety requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Grade 12 \/ Matric \/ NQF Level 4 qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Medically fit to perform physical tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Clean criminal record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Own reliable transport to and from work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Physical capability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively during working hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper storage and disposal methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong organizational skills with the ability to work without direct supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Self-motivated with the ability to identify and complete tasks independently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
