Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

BLU by Adcorp is seeking experienced and qualified Code 14 Drivers with a valid Hazchem (DGP) certification<\/strong> on behalf of our client based in Jacobs, Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in both local and long-distance deliveries and demonstrate a commitment to safety and reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Operate a Code 14 truck for the transport of hazardous materials<\/strong>, ensuring full compliance with relevant road and safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform local and long-distance deliveries<\/strong> as assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere strictly to Hazchem protocols and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct vehicle inspections and report any faults or issues promptly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain accurate records of deliveries and required documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure the safe handling and transportation of all goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Matric (Grade 12)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid Code 14 Driver\u2019s License<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid Dangerous Goods Permit (DGP \/ Hazchem)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 5 years of truck driving experience<\/strong>, with exposure to transporting hazardous materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Clear criminal record<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong knowledge of road safety and Hazchem regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work independently and manage long-distance trips with professionalism and responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
