The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods, while upholding company standards for safety and customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Transport goods and materials to designated locations efficiently and safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or maintenance issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Assist with loading and unloading goods as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain necessary delivery documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Communicate with dispatchers and clients to coordinate and confirm delivery schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide courteous and professional customer service during all interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Valid driver\u2019s license (appropriate for the type of vehicle operated).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Minimum of <strong>2 years of professional driving experience<\/strong>, preferably in the logistics or transport sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Strong knowledge of <strong>Johannesburg and surrounding areas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Excellent communication and time management skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and offloading tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Commitment to safety, compliance, and punctuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Clear criminal record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A valid <strong>Professional Driving Permit (PDP)<\/strong> is advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior experience in <strong>logistics, courier, or transportation<\/strong> industries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of <strong>vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APPLICATION PROCESS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-for-tower-group-pty-ltd-code-10-code-14-drivers-x10-must-know-johannesburg-and-surrounding-areas\/\">APPLY HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Note:<\/strong><br>This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is appointed.
