This role supports key logistics and operational functions including receiving, storing, and supplying raw materials to production, handling finished goods, and managing deliveries and stock control processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Unload containers and shipments from customers and suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Pick and prepare raw materials for production based on work order requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Handle Interbranch Transfers as per company procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Drive the company delivery van or car to transport products, supplies, and personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Complete daily vehicle and equipment checklists, and ensure cleanliness and maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Load and unload products and supplies from vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Verify goods received from suppliers and transfers from Johannesburg Warehouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Place stock in designated areas following company protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform daily stock counts and monitor store temperature and humidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Manage the goods returned cage and arrange necessary collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Identify and implement process improvements within the Stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, and safety in line with ISO13485:2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Participate in mandatory alcohol and drug testing procedures as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Matric (Grade 12) certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Minimum of 2 years\u2019 relevant experience in a warehouse or stores environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Valid Forklift\/Stacker license and experience operating the equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Valid South African Driver\u2019s License preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in the work environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Willingness to comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APPLICATION PROCESS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-for-tower-group-pty-ltd-stores-assistant\/\">APPLY HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>For application information or to submit your CV, please contact <strong>Tower Group (Pty) Ltd<\/strong> or visit their official job portal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stores Assistant Location: Cape Town, South AfricaClosing Date: 18 April 2025Job Type: Permanent | Full Time Overview Tower Group (Pty) Ltd, on behalf of its client in the medical devices and packaging industry, is seeking a Stores Assistant to join the Raw Materials Stores \/ Receiving team based in Cape Town.
