Phakisa Holdings is looking for reliable and efficient Van Assistants<\/strong> to support our delivery team in Alexandra, Krugersdorp, and Soweto<\/strong>. The ideal candidate will assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring safe and timely deliveries<\/strong>, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the van<\/strong>. This role is essential for ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our logistics and distribution network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Assist in loading and unloading goods<\/strong> at designated delivery locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure that all items are securely packed and protected<\/strong> during transit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Support the driver with route planning and delivery coordination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist in navigating to delivery locations<\/strong> when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Check delivery documentation<\/strong> and confirm that all items are accounted for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide professional customer service<\/strong> when interacting with clients at delivery points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain cleanliness and organization<\/strong> of the van.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns<\/strong> to the supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with inventory management and stock organization<\/strong> as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Handle returns or exchanges<\/strong> of goods as per company procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow all health, safety, and driving regulations<\/strong> to ensure compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Matric \/ Grade 12 qualification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid driver\u2019s license<\/strong> (preferred but not mandatory).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Ability to lift and carry heavy items<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong teamwork and communication skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Basic knowledge of routes and local geography<\/strong> is an advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Attention to detail and strong organizational skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment<\/strong> and manage multiple tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role<\/strong> is preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
