Overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rubicon is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant\/Driver<\/strong> to support its warehouse and logistics operations in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the seamless flow of goods within the warehouse\u2014from receiving and storage to packaging, dispatch, and final delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Receiving<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Identify shipment origins and types (customer, supplier, inter-branch).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Physically place received stock in designated warehouse areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report discrepancies such as damaged, short, or over-supplied stock to the supervisor and procurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Capture and follow up on discrepancy reports within 5 days of submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Storage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Store items securely to prevent damage and promote safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure items are labeled and packaged correctly according to company standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Order Fulfilment<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Remove damaged items from shelves and escalate to stock control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Understand and manage stock destination and delivery type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collaborate with internal departments to meet delivery commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Packaging & Dispatch<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Package items to reduce damage and enhance presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Label all loose items properly according to SOPs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Coordinate deliveries to align with company objectives and budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Scan and record PODs (Proof of Delivery) daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Confirm delivery details (address and contact) before dispatch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documentation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure all stock movements are properly documented and signed by both sender and receiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow company SOPs for document storage and handling discrepancies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health & Safety<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Enforce company H&S policies for warehousing and transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform vehicle inspections and ensure roadworthiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Operate company vehicles safely in accordance with regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum Matric\/NQF 4 qualification<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum 2 years of delivery driving experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-2+ years in fleet and contract management<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid EC Driver’s License<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skills & Competencies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Intermediate computer literacy (Windows and MS Office)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong attention to detail<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Excellent communication and coordination skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work independently and in a team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Focused, trustworthy, and dependable <\/p>\n\n\n\n
