Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Phakisa Holdings is looking for experienced Code 14 Drivers<\/strong> to join our logistics team in Krugersdorp, Alexandra, and Soweto<\/strong>. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods<\/strong>, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations<\/strong> and company policies. If you have Superlink and Dangerous Goods certification<\/strong>, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and professional logistics environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Vehicle Operation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Operate a Code 14 heavy-duty truck<\/strong> in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure safe and efficient transportation<\/strong> of goods to designated locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections<\/strong>, including checking fuel, tires, oil, and other essential systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Route Management<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Plan routes and schedules<\/strong> to meet delivery deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report any delays, traffic incidents, or mechanical issues<\/strong> to the Transport Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain accurate trip logs<\/strong>, including departure times, arrival times, and kilometers traveled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loading & Unloading<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Assist in the loading and unloading of goods<\/strong>, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Inspect goods before and after transit<\/strong> for any damage or discrepancies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documentation & Reporting<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure that all delivery notes, manifests, and log sheets<\/strong> are accurately completed and signed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Keep records of fuel receipts, mileage, and other compliance documentation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety & Compliance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere to road safety regulations, weight limits, and company safety policies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in vehicle safety inspections<\/strong> and report any defects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Comply with Dangerous Goods transportation regulations<\/strong> when applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customer Interaction<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Interact with clients and customers<\/strong> in a professional and courteous manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Address customer queries or complaints<\/strong> promptly and professionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicle Maintenance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Perform basic maintenance checks<\/strong> such as tire pressure, oil levels, and fluid levels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver\u2019s License with PrDP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Minimum of 3 years’ experience<\/strong> as a Code 14 Driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Matric \/ Grade 12 qualification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Superlink and Dangerous Goods certification (essential)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Clean criminal record<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
