The successful candidate will lead and coordinate housing services, with a focus on implementing the <strong>Self Help Housing Agency (SHHA)<\/strong> programme and managing the Housing Division to ensure community housing needs are addressed effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose of the Role<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To coordinate and supervise the implementation of the SHHA programme and manage all functions within the Housing Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Plan and coordinate all functions of the Housing Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Supervise the implementation of the Self Help Housing programme to ensure compliance with national policies and legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Assess community housing needs and develop appropriate self-help interventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide professional housing advice to the Council and key stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Oversee the provision of services to SHHA plots in accordance with the SHHA Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform other related duties as assigned by management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications and Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Degree in <strong>Housing Management and Development<\/strong> or related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of <strong>10 years\u2019 relevant work experience<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have served at least at the level of <strong>Principal Housing Officer II \u2013 D3 scale<\/strong>, or equivalent experience from the <strong>Private Sector or Parastatal<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competencies Required<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Working with People<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Adhering to Principles and Values<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Relating and Networking<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Writing and Reporting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Planning and Organizing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Following Instructions and Procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Medical Aid Scheme:<\/strong> Optional contributory;
