This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our operations in the food manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Tunnel Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in supporting forklift requirements within the department. Reporting to the Processing Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, contributing to a well-organized and productive work environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Execute daily forklift checklist at the beginning of each shift<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate forklift in accordance with prescribed operating procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS ACT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uphold a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain high standards of 5S, housekeeping, and hygiene in and around the forklift area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safely transport filled palletainers to specified cold rooms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supply empty palletainers to the staging area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove waste from behind the tunnel and manage used palletainer liners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure an adequate supply of palletainers for production in the processing hall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supply rework materials to the designated rework area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate effectively with operators regarding any changeovers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 years of experience in a Food Manufacturing environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid Forklift License<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of food manufacturing processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with the Labour Relations Act<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of food safety compliance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and people skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team-oriented with the ability to engage at all levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>How To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-91f082dd381ee8a88534d791c337235b\" style=\"color:#ff0000\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-for-tunnel-forklift-driver-2024\/\">Click here for application instructions.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If you are a qualified candidate with a proven track record in forklift operations and a commitment to safety and quality, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
