The successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring and logging activity in the conservancy area while also supporting general lodge, camp, and conservancy maintenance tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conserve and protect natural habitats and wildlife<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comply with environmental regulations and legislation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support anti-poaching activities in collaboration with wildlife authorities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan and manage food and equipment usage to reduce waste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Store supplies safely to avoid contamination<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate stock requirements and coordinate with team members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Additional Duties:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist with groundskeeping and general maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate and load the bulk truck<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support with luggage handling and guest transfers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in fence and bush clearing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 year of experience<\/strong> in a similar role<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid <strong>Class B driver\u2019s license<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Basic firefighting certificate<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Level 2 First Aid certification<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assistant guide license<\/strong> (knowledge of animals &amp; dangerous game)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rifle handling skills<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proficient in using mowers, hand tools, and heavy equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physically fit with the ability to stand, stoop, crouch, and lift over 45kgs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable using tracking and camera trap equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Honest, dependable, and safety-conscious<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates should submit a <strong>cover letter and CV<\/strong> via email to:<br>\ud83d\udce7 <strong>Email:<\/strong> <a class=\"\">tsholofelo@kerdowney.bw<\/a><br><strong>Subject Line:<\/strong> Rangers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Position: Rangers (x4)Location: Botswana \u2013 Conservancy AreaCompany: Ker &amp; Downey BotswanaReporting To: Camp General ManagerClosing Date for Applications: 02 May 2025\ud83d\udce7 Email Applications To: tsholofelo@kerdowney.bwSubject Line: Rangers Join Ker &amp; Downey Botswana \u2013 We&#8217;re Hiring Rangers (4 Positions Available) Ker &amp; Downey Botswana is looking for four experienced and committed Rangers to join our team.
