The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties essential to the safe and efficient operation of our long-distance coach services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of the coach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive in accordance with K53 requirements and company policies, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with luggage loading and ensure proper stowage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide exceptional passenger care and adhere to etiquette standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform en-route tasks as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle onboard administration tasks such as passenger ticket validation and sales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain coach hygiene standards to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for passengers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage breakdown situations efficiently and effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforce and adhere to all safety requirements and protocols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilize prescribed systems effectively to optimize service delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform all duties in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be a South African citizen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of a valid Code 14 License and PrDP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear and articulate speech.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to own cellular telephone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reliable transportation or access to suitable public transport.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residence within a 45 km radius of the Pretoria Depot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in both English and the candidate&#8217;s mother tongue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No history of serious motor vehicle accidents (accident-free record).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to provide valid reference numbers and names from former employments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to undergo SAPS clearance and verification of licenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to attending a 3-week training program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience and Education Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of Grade 10 (Standard 8) qualification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 to 5 years of long-distance driving experience (400km or more).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COVID-19 Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal protective equipment will be provided or required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Temperature screenings will be conducted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social distancing guidelines will be implemented.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures will be in place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-for-intercape-driver-position\/\" style=\"background-color:#ff3232\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Professional Long-Distance Coach Driver.
