Overview:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

MB Transport, a division of Unitrans Passenger<\/strong>, is looking for experienced and professional Bus Drivers<\/strong> to join their team in Vredendal<\/strong>. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on scheduled routes, ensuring compliance with traffic laws, maintaining vehicle standards, and delivering excellent customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This role contributes significantly to the organisation by ensuring the safety and timely transportation of passengers while upholding company policies and road safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Operate buses safely and professionally along established routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Control lighting, heating, and ventilation systems to ensure passenger comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Observe traffic laws, prescribed speed limits, and weather conditions to ensure safe travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure passengers reach their destinations safely and on schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere to the company\u2019s Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle defects or malfunctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Log and report incidents, accidents, or property damage to supervisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in daily safety sessions (DSS) and other training sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Register passengers and ensure proper documentation of each trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Keep the vehicle clean and ensure it is refueled as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Complete all necessary logbooks and documentation accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Obey signage, speed limits, and avoid unauthorized route deviations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Use safety equipment such as wheel chocks and seatbelts as per policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report any vehicle damage or issues immediately to the supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow customer-specific policies (e.g., SMS policies) and scheduled collection times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Never overtake other Unitrans vehicles unless authorized or necessary for safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
