Overview

Zibo Containers (Pty) Ltd, a leading manufacturer of thermoformed plastic packaging, is seeking a motivated and experienced Code 10 Driver to join their logistics team in Algoa Park, Gqeberha. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of customer orders, maintaining vehicle standards, and upholding company procedures and regulations.


Key Responsibilities

-Perform a daily vehicle checklist before and after deliveries or collections.

-Verify that all vehicle loads match the relevant invoice documents and delivery notes.

-Assist with the loading and offloading of stock at designated locations.

-Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining high service standards.

-Accurately complete all daily documentation, including delivery records and work reports.

-Operate the vehicle in full compliance with road safety laws and company procedures.

-Report any mechanical issues or vehicle defects to the Warehouse or Logistics Manager immediately.

-Maintain vehicle cleanliness, both inside and outside, on a daily and weekly basis.

-Sign for and report any discrepancies in deliveries to the warehouse office promptly.

-Adhere to all company health and safety regulations.

-Carry out any additional work-related tasks as reasonably assigned by management.


Requirements and Skills

Matric (Grade 12) certificate.

-Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).

-Minimum of 3 years’ proven driving experience in a similar role.

-Clear criminal record.

-Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks related to loading and offloading.

-Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

-Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
