Overview:

Are you passionate about retail and eager to gain hands-on experience in the industry? The Mr Price Foundation, through its JumpStart Programme, is offering unemployed South African youth the opportunity to enhance their employability through two dynamic and practical training tracks:

  1. Retail Sales Programme (RSP) – Focused on customer-facing roles.
  2. Retail Frontline Programme (RFP) – Designed to prepare youth for entry-level retail positions.

These programmes equip participants with essential life skills, sales theory, and practical in-store work experience—completely free of charge.

1. Retail Sales Programme (RSP):

A high-energy, two-week training programme tailored for those with a friendly, outgoing nature and strong communication skills. The course includes:

-Life skills training

-Sales theory and role-playing

-In-store work experience

-Phone screening and online survey for selection

2. Retail Frontline Programme (RFP):

An empowering two-week course aimed at preparing you for entry-level roles in the retail sector. The training includes:

-Online life skills course

-In-person training and mock interviews

-One week of hands-on retail experience

Basic Entry Requirements (for both programmes):

-Must be South African

-Must have completed Matric

-Aged between 18 and 33 years

–Currently unemployed

–No criminal record
