Overview:
Kayur Investments is urgently seeking a responsible and experienced Code 14 Driver to join our team in Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety on the road.
Responsibilities:
-Operate and maintain vehicles and trucks, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
-Conduct daily inspections of vehicles, including checks on fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall condition, reporting any faults promptly.
-Ensure the safety of all road users by adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
-Abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all relevant road regulations.
-Navigate efficiently throughout the Durban area.
-Keep accurate records in the vehicle logbook, ensuring it is signed by the supervisor.
-Safely load and off-load various materials and equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Grade 12 certificate.
- Valid Code 14 license with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Practical and hands-on approach to the job.
- Mounted Grab Certificate is advantageous.
