Overview
The Land Administration Authority (LAA) is seeking two qualified, competent, and highly motivated Legal Assistants for a temporary two-month contract. The role requires proficiency in both spoken and written Sesotho and English. The successful candidates will be responsible for examining legal documents, maintaining records, and supporting the Deeds Registry with various legal functions.
Key Responsibilities
-Conduct timely examination of deeds and other documents submitted for execution or registration.
-Ensure proper maintenance and preservation of all records within the Deeds Registry.
-Attest, execute, and register deeds as required by the Land Registrar.
-Provide additional legal support services as needed.
Requirements & Skills
-Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from a recognized institution.
-Strong analytical and document review skills.
-High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
-Proficiency in both Sesotho and English (spoken and written).
