Overview

Afriski Mountain Resort is seeking a creative and dynamic Content Creator/Events Coordinator to join our marketing team for the peak season. This role is ideal for a marketing, hospitality, or digital media professional who is passionate about storytelling, event coordination, and engaging audiences through digital content. You will be responsible for capturing the unique experiences and attractions of Afriski, managing social media engagement, and coordinating on-site events to enhance guest experiences and drive resort visitation.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media Management

-Develop creative concepts and strategies for content across digital platforms, including social media, websites, email newsletters, and blogs.

-Capture high-quality photos and videos of resort activities, events, and amenities while ensuring brand consistency.

-Manage and curate social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), engaging with the audience and increasing awareness.

-Monitor social media for trends, customer feedback, and user-generated content.

Event Coordination

-Plan, organize, and execute on-site events and activations, such as après-ski parties, live music performances, themed nights, and special promotions.

-Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, vendor coordination, equipment rental, and staffing.

-Work closely with the marketing and hospitality teams to ensure events enhance guest satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

-Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and event coordination, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.

-Strong photography and videography skills, with proficiency in editing software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for storytelling and brand messaging.

-Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

-Knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).

Passion for outdoor adventure, skiing, or snowboarding is highly desirable.
